C + A at 26 Bridge

Callista and Aaron wanted something organic and unique for their fall wedding - which happened to fall on Halloween - without being Halloween-y at all. We chose to feature unconventional shapes and textures - eucalyptus, leucadendrons, and cymbidiums from Callista's home country of Australia, with whimsical shapes of thistles, berries, and lysimachia to add a playful touch. Instead of using just standard roses, we used hybrid garden rose varieties, like Juliet, Free Spirit and Green-Eyed Beauty roses. Centerpieces featured artichokes, pears, and plums incorporated into the flowers and placed at the base of the gold mercury bowls. The chuppah was built on a birch log base, with Aaron's tallit placed over the top. We made the florals on the chuppah lush, wild, and asymmetrical to offset the industrial decor and rigidness of 26 Bridge.

This wedding was one of our favorites of 2015!
